Most Delicious & Easiest Date Pudding Recipe: Bake at Home

Who does not love a warm pudding with sweet dates when there's a chill in the autumn air? Sounds even more delicious when it is a sticky & syrupy date pudding. You may not have even tried making your own as there are great pudding shops all around you. But trust us, nothing can beat a good quality heavenly home made pudding! And this easy and mouth-watering date pudding recipe, that we are going to share today, is suitable for a first time baker too. So give it a try, trust us everyone will just LOVE this!

Ingredients

  • Dark Brown Sugar, Divided – 1 ½ cups
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Butter – 1 tablespoon
  • Flour – 1 cup
  • Baking Powder – 2 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Milk – ½ cup
  • Chopped Dates – 1 cup
  • Chopped Walnuts – ½ cup
  • Whipped Cream/ vanilla ice cream for Serving

 

 Direction

- Combine 1 cup brown sugar and water in a saucepan and cook until it boils
- Remove from heat and add butter
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, ½ cup sugar in a bowl
- Stir in milk, until smooth
- Add dates and walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F
- Pour syrup into a 8 to 9 inch baking pan, add butter and bake for 45 minutes
